Operation Arthroscopy was created by Bill and Erica Stetson as a result of the work started by Dr. John Feagin in Cuba. It is a small, grassroots, non-profit organization that is a 501(c) 3 corporation and was inspired by their love and compassion for humanity. In pursuit of these objectives, Operation Arthroscopy provide a platform for collecting and delivering donated medical supplies, provide hands-on training, as well as performing arthroscopic surgery with the local surgeons. In addition to humanitarian trips to Cuba, Haiti, Vietnam and Peru, Dr. Stetson and his team of volunteers also do “Volunteer Saturday” where they perform a day of surgery free of charge for those in need in the local community.
